Country Fest 2012 was something special. Tim McGraw was on the bill Friday night. It was Kenny Chesney's sixth time doing Country Fest could be his most best yet.
It was one of the biggest country music lineups to roll through New England in recent memory, and probably the biggest back to back (Springsteen and Chesney) concert events to hit Gillette in a long time. It was a night that paired Chesney and McGraw, two of Nashville's reigning superstars, for 48,000 party-primed fans. Jame Owen opened the night with an outstanding set followed by Grace Potter and the Nocternals whose success continues to skyrocket.
